Behind The Build

This project was tailored for a newly wed couple, presenting an ideal solution for their living arrangements. With plans to reside in one of the homes and lease out the other, the duplex concept perfectly aligned with their goals. The process commenced with the purchase of the property, already equipped with council-approved plans. During the interim period before settlement, we collaborated closely with the clients to finalize the endorsed plans and secure the necessary building permits. By the time settlement occurred, we were poised to commence construction without delay.

Characterised by a modern aesthetic, the duplex features a stylish facade that immediately captures attention. A blend of materials enhances its visual appeal, including standing seam Colorbond cladding, corner open windows adorned with shrouds, and recycled red bricks on the ground floor. This combination of elements lends a contemporary yet warm and inviting atmosphere to the exterior, setting the tone for the overall design.
